Rover's Way
Nomadic Folk
Matt and Keira are US based folk musicians currently traveling full time performing at renaissance and Celtic festivals across the continental US. Their debut duo album The Journey released in late August 2023 and is the culmination of nearly two years of musical transformation and growth.
Matt has been an accomplished musical performer for much of his life. From a career as an Operatic baritone, to learning trad instruments in his free time to feed his passion for the musical lineage that found him tracing his grandfather’s bluegrass fiddle tunes to their green roots in the traditional folk music of Ireland. He has created two solo folk albums Water Hops and Grains, and Here’s to Dear Old Erin (Which features Keira on a few tracks).
Keira is a relative newcomer to the musical stage, but brings a natural musicality and gorgeous soprano to balance Matt's lower vocals. Together, this husband-and-wife duo bring the resonant tones of DADGAD guitar, classic penny whistle, bass, and bodhran together with their dynamic harmonies to beloved folk classics and their original songs.
